In many European countries the use of forest chips at district heating plants has increased significantly since the first systems came into operation at the beginning of the 1980s.
Seen in an international perspective, the use of wood chips at district heating plants has increased tremendously during a relative short period of time.

We propose the base load heating demand to be provided provided by a  Biomass Combustion System.

The heat distribution system transports heat from the heating plant to the locations where it will be used. These locations may be within the same building as the plant or, in the case of a district heating system, a cluster of buildings located in the vicinity of the plant. A network of insulated piping conveys hot water away/ from the plant and returns the cooled water back to the plant for reheating.

District Heating is an intelligent, environmentally friendly way
to supply space heating and hot water to homes, schools and
other buildings and even process steam to food processing
facilities from a central plant or heat source such as a Wood
Biomass Boiler, but also conventional systems.
The plant can be either a
cogeneration (CHP) plant or heat only.
Heat is delivered to consumers through an insulated pipe
network. Instead of every building having its own boiler, district
heating is supplied by a central plant which can use advanced methods to run on different fuels, thus benefiting both
households, public and commercial consumers and the environment. Common in Europe, district heating is beginning
to spark growing interest in Western Canada, bringing with it significant economic and environmental benefits.
